Turkey Recipes - Fast Turkey

When you think of any major holidays, recipes for roast turkey with stuffing and all the trimmings comes immediately to mind. Not only does it make for an excellent feast, but a good-sized bird can keep you eating leftovers for months. Thank God there are so many different recipes for using up those leftovers.

Fast Turkey

     12 lb Turkey
      1 md Onion
      1 md Carrot
      4 tb Rosemary
           Butter
      6 c  Stock
 
Stuff with the onion, carrot, and rosemary.

Brush the outside with the melted butter.

Place breast side down in a roaster. Add the stock and place in a 500F oven.

Roast for 1 hour.

Reduce heat to 450F and turn the turkey over.

Roast for one more hour. The bird should be fully cooked by then. To be sure, check internal temperature to be 180F.
